The modern P2P technology enables you to watch Livestreams (digital picture data of the sports events live) simply on the internet. ZapTiger makes available the links to the live events.

Additionally, ZapTiger offers you further information to the live events like live results and a lot more.

All Livestreams are available to you completely free of charge!

Select from the menu the sports event you like'd to watch. In the list of upcoming sports events simply click on the desired event.

As soon as you have selected a sports event, that you like to watch live, you need to select a channel or a program from the list below the event. The links to the Livestreams appear a few hours before the start of a game.

(1) Channel: the TV-channel, which shows the sports event.
(2) Program: the free software (freeware) that you need to watch the sports event.
(3) Transfer rate: the higher this rate is, the better the image quality and the higher the data volume, that results. With higher transfer rates you rather need a better Internet connection.
(4) Rating/Quality: the quality rating of the sports event is carried out by the users of ZapTiger.
(5) Link to start the software, which plays the Livestream

If the chosen program is installed on your computer, click on "stream" (5) in the same line as the desired program/channel to start the program.

Tip: If you have not installed the chosen program (e.g. "Sopcast" or "TVAnts") on your PC yet, you need to download the program on your PC and install it. Here you can find a choice of the programs.

The program then starts automatically. The Livestream is built up and after a short time you can watch the Stream.

One more tip:
ZapTiger recommends activating the Stream 30 minutes in advance of the start of the event.
A Livestream is often already used to capacity at the beginning of an event by too many users.

What does it cost to watch a live event on ZapTiger?
ZapTiger provides all Livestream-links completely free of charge. You simply need an internet connection at sufficient speed.


What internet connection do I need?
An Internet connection with 0.5 Megabit or more should be sufficient to watch the Livestreams on ZapTiger.


On which operating systems do the programs run?
Up to now the programs only run with Microsoft Windows. However, Sopcast is also available for Linux.


I only get the sound and cannot see the video pictures. What's the problem?
Probably special video codec’s are missing on your PC. We recommend installing the complete K-Lite Codec Pack, which you can download from the official manufacturer's site: Link


The stream often breaks off and I must wait in between.
What is the problem?
For an optimum reproduction it makes sense to switch off all applications which communicate with the Internet - in particular Filesharing- or Torrent programs.


Windows Media Player shows "buffering" in the status dialog. However, no video is visible. What's the problem?
Unfortunately, this appears quite often. The Livestream could be overloaded, because too many users want to watch this special event.


After opening a stream with the Windows Media Player after a short time an error message appears. What's the problem?
Either the Livestream is overloaded or the Livestream is simply not available. Sometimes the links to the Livestreams change at short notice.


If I click "stream", I get an error message in the browser.
Whats's the problem?
Apparently the Livestreaming-Software is not installed on your PC yet.
